We rented a cabin in the mountains of Virginia to escape the craziness between Christmas and New Years Eve in the big city. It was hard to capture how secluded we were from the ground, and just how far away from the hustle and bustle we were. We sent the drone up to capture the landscape, the cabin, and the surrounding area.

Recently just relocated to Washington DC for work which has been a bit depressing since I had previously been living and traveling abroad for almost 3 years. It felt like the end to a permanent vacation. I decided to have a road trip for a few days to explore my backyard. Had an amazing time Hiking and taking many photos in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. Beautiful place.

I went out with my brother recently, hiking along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Blowing Rock, NC. He loves the mountains but rarely visits, so we spend as much time as possible outside when he makes his way out west. He took a minute to breathe about halfway up the trail at Rough Ridge.

Backpacked late Friday after work to a spot in Linville Gorge North Carolina. It was rainy and really foggy on the hike in that night. We woke up the next morning to clear skies and once we got out of our tent we saw the clouds engulfing the mountain top. Definitely an amazing experience!
